August 2022 we hired Philly Heart & Soul to play at the Bordentown Elks to celebrate our wedding, not a reception but just a party for friends and family. Over 150 people came out to join us. All were glad they did & are still talking about the show.
We saw the band before at a club, but to have them on stage at an event like this was unbelievable. The band members aren't just musicians, they are entertainers. Their interaction with the crowd was amazing, lots of dancing. The set list was great. Every song was tight, right on the money.

Fun, Gracious, and Kind
I run programs for adults with intellectual disabilities, and after a long time being pretty locked down we were able to get together for a picnic with all of our locations. I booked up Philly Heart and Soul to come and play for the people, and it was definitely the right choice.
Working with Sam to organize the gig, complete payment, all the administrative stuff was very easy to do. He was a great communicator. When the band played the dancing and smiles started immediately. The band was on point, sounded great, and played a selection that matched what we were looking for. My guys were dancing and having an absolute blast.
On top of being great musicians, the people in the band could not have been nicer. They were interactive with the people, didn't seem to mind a quick song interruption for a fist bump or high five, and seemed like they were having a ball playing for us.
I honestly couldn't have asked for more and would heartily recommend Philly Heart and Soul for their professionalism, fun, and simply kind people. Give 'em a shot.

Due to COVID-19, we had frequent changes regarding our wedding date and wedding details. Philly Heart & Soul was not only accommodating to all of the changes we had to make on a daily basis but helped us problem solve as new challenges arose.
Our entrances for the reception and first dance songs were wonderfully performed even with interesting song choices from the bridal party.
We received compliments throughout the reception on the pure talent they possessed and how enjoyable they were to watch and dance to. They were full of enthusiasm, warm and friendly towards the guests, and professional throughout the night. Philly Heart & Soul is the best choice for your next event!
